Daily Itinerary
Day 1 | Kuala Lumpur → Kunming
Depart from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Overnight flight to Kunming Changshui International Airport. Upon arrival, private transfer to hotel for check in and rest.

Day 2 | Kunming → Stone Forest → Dali
2.7 billion year old geological wonder. Full day visit to Stone Forest (Shilin), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and spectacular karst landscape. Massive stone pillars stand as petrified forest, once ancient seabed uplifted by tectonic movements. Explore Greater Stone Forest with iconic stone inscription & Jianfeng Pool, and Lesser Stone Forest featuring the famous Ashima rock formation. Halal lunch available near the scenic entrance.
Take high speed train to Dali in the evening.

Day 3 | Dali Ancient Town → Nanmen Mosque → Erhai Lake → Dali Muslim Food Street
In the morning, wander Dali Ancient Town, a Bai ethnic community backed by Cangshan Mountains and facing Erhai Lake. Walk ancient city walls and South Gate. Visit Nanmen Mosque, Dali’s oldest mosque built in Ming Dynasty for local Hui Muslim community.
Afternoon: Stroll along Erhai Lake lakeside promenade and enjoy panoramic Cangshan mountain views. Evening at Dali Muslim Food Street, taste local halal specialty: Huo Piao Niu Rou (beef hot pot).

Day 4 | Dali → Donglianhua Hui Horse Caravan Village → Lijiang (Coach approx. 3hrs)
A well preserved Hui horse caravan village from the Tea Horse Road era.
Morning excursion to Donglianhua Village in Weishan County, about 20 km from Dali. Founded in Ming Dynasty, this historic Hui settlement was home to wealthy Tea Horse Road caravan families. Highlights: ・Ma Ruji Grand Courtyard: Built in 1941 by the leading caravan magnate. Compound blends Chinese traditional and Islamic architecture. Entry fee ¥20 including Horse Caravan Culture Museum. ・Donglianhua Mosque: First constructed in early Qing Dynasty; its minaret remains the tallest landmark of the village. ・Local halal street food: hand pulled noodles, fried dough (You Xiang), yak jerky.
Private coach transfer to Lijiang in the late afternoon.

Day 5 | Lijiang → First Bend of Yangtze River → Tiger Leaping Gorge → Dukezong Ancient City (Shangri La)
Drive north from Lijiang. Stop at the First Bend of Yangtze River viewpoint. Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in the world. Continue onward to Dukezong Ancient City in Shangri La. Important altitude note: Shangri La sits at around 3,300 m. Take it easy after arrival; avoid strenuous exercise and hot bath on your first night.

Day 6 | Potatso National Park → Napa Lake Alpine Grassland → Return to Lijiang
Explore Potatso National Park, home to pristine alpine lakes, lush meadows and well-preserved high-altitude wilderness. Continue to Napa Lake Alpine Grassland to enjoy vast seasonal lake views and authentic highland pastoral scenery. In the afternoon, take private coach transfer back to Lijiang. Enjoy free leisure time in Lijiang Ancient Town in the evening.

Day 7 | Lijiang・Yulong Snow Mountain → Blue Moon Valley → Kunming
Full day Yulong Snow Mountain excursion. Take Spruce Plateau Cable Car and explore Blue Moon Valley with turquoise glacial water.
In the evening, take high speed train back to Kunming. Reminder: Cable car tickets are subject to real time availability during winter season.

Day 8 | Kunming City Tour: Shuncheng Mosque → Old Street → Nanping Walking Street → Departure Transfer
Kunming city sightseeing.
Visit Shuncheng Mosque (prayer facilities available), Kunming Old Street and lively Nanping Walking Street. Private transfer to airport for your outbound flight.
